ESAB introduces its latest range of premium flip-up automatic welding helmets — the SENTINEL A70 Pro and SENTINEL A70 air Pro. Designed for heavy industrial applications, these helmets combine advanced protection, comfort, and smart technology to enhance productivity.
The Sentinel A70 Pro Series features a large 123 x 75 mm auto-darkening filter (ADF) with an Optical classification of EN ISO V1 (1/1/1/1), ensuring superior clarity and reduced eye strain. The flip-up design allows users to easily switch between welding and grinding, without removing the helmet, improving efficiency and workflow.
These helmets are equipped with a range of premium features:
The app enables users to save and recall settings, monitor welding and cutting time, and manage service logs efficiently.
The helmets feature OpTCS™ True-Colour ADF technology, which enhances colour clarity and reduces eye strain.
This ensures optimal visibility across various welding and cutting applications.
Weighing approximately 920 grams (non air version), the helmet is designed with balanced headgear that distributes weight evenly, providing comfort during long working hours.
A built-in 50-lumen LED light improves visibility in dark environments, allowing for accurate positioning before welding. The light automatically switches off when the arc starts and can also be manually controlled.
The Sentinel A70 Air Pro is compatible with the ESAB EPR-X1 Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system, offering enhanced respiratory protection.
This is especially useful when working in confined spaces, poorly ventilated environments or with materials that produce hazardous fumes such as stainless steel and chrome alloys.
With over 120 years of expertise, ESAB is a global leader in fabrication technology. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio that includes welding and cutting equipment, automation, robotics, fabrication software, consumables, gas control systems, and personal protective equipment.
