Commonly used in chemical tanks paper mill equipment, bleaching equipment, chemicals plants, textile plants, whose vessel surfaces are exposed to severe corrosion by sulphuric, sulphurous, hydrochloric, acetic, phosphoric, citric, tartaric acids etc. and also for components exposed to high temperatures for e.g. heat resistant castings. OK 63.35 A 5.4: E 316L-15 OK 63.35 is mainly used for welding stainless steels having a corresponding analysis, but can also be used for welding certain air hardening steels, e.g. armour plate, and for butt welding stainless steel to unalloyed or low alloyed carbon steels. ESAB 309LC A 5.4: E 309L-15 It is recommended for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance, high strength and oxidation resistance upto 1000°C where the sulphurous attack does not occur. It is also eminently suitable for welding stainless steel to unalloyed steel and also for welding of 304L and 309L clad steels. It is also used as buffer in cladding. 470 40% FN 12-22
OK67.70 A 5.4: E 309Mo-16 OK 67.70 is especially designed for welding of acid resisting clad steels and stainless steels to other types of steels for e.g. welding of the root runs in the transition between the stainless layer in a clad steel and the unalloyed base material. ESAB 309Mo A 5.4: E 309Mo-15 ESAB 309Mo is especially suitable for welding of stainless steels where better toughness is required compared to the rutile based electrodes of the same class. ESAB 309Mo is used for the welding of 316 type clad steels as well as a buffer layer in welding of dissimilar metals e.g. mild steel to stainless steel, low alloy steel to stainless steel. OK 68.00 A 5.4: E 410Ni Mo-16 OK 68.00 is a suitable electrode for joining, surfacing applications of hydel turbine blades, valve seat runners, high pressure vessels, paper plant equipment, welding of guide vans and runners, similar corrosion resisting chromium steels, steel castings and martensitic-ferritic stainless steel of similar types. 800 17%  
ESAB RSQ   ESAB RSQ deposits a weldmetal which is highly resistant to cracking and as well has good thermal shock resistance. The weldmetal will polish in service to provide excellent metal to metal wear resistance. Extremely suitable as a tough underlay for more brittle alloys in medium to high temperature applications. Recommended to use as a buffer layer for reconditioning of medium manganese steel rail crossing. Other typical applications: to weld diffi cult to weld steels, armour steels, carbon steels to stainless steels, as a buffer layer for overlaying surfaces that take severe impact and pounding (ie) in steel mill wobblers and coupling boxes, armour mill hammers, bar mill guides and synter-plant parts. ESAB 430 A 5.4: E 430-15 ESAB 430 is designed for welding AISI 430 stainless steels and steels with similar composition. Typical applications include machine parts, gears, fasteners, propeller shafts, welding of cast parts in gas turbine construction, welding of similar corrosion resistant chrome steels and steel castings, pump parts cimponents in oil refi neries, coal washers etc. 520 20%  
ESAB ARMOlD 1   ESAB ARMOlD 1 is especially designed for welding of armour plates. Other than application on armour plates, the electrode is also suitable for joining of high strength steels such as high carbon steels, Chrome- Carbon steels, Chrome-Moly steels and spring steels. Dissimilar steels such as Carbon & Alloy steels to Mn-steels or Stainless Steels can also be welded with ESAB ARMOlD 1. The excellent work hardening characteristics displayed by ESAB ARMOID-1, makes it suitable for use in reinforcing rail steels, excavator bucket teeth, for surfacing of gear teeth and steel mills roll prior to hard metal deposition. 735 35%  
ESAB CHROMWELD G   Chromweld G is specially designed for welding of High strength steels of unknown omposition and also suitable as a cushioning layer prior to hard surfacing.
